Let’s Talk About Sex

In today’s world it’s sad to even think some people are just too shy to talk about sex with their kids, so people are still being raised in ignorance and believing myths. It’s better than it was with the internet for those that have unrestricted access. I find it bizarre that grown men in the military are denied full internet access and access to porn sites. Many military guys I have spoken with have mentioned this.

They are fighting for their country, in most cases have no access to women, yet the government denies them access to porn to masturbate to when they have literally zero alternatives. They are told not to become involved with local women where they are stationed, most of the females they would be around are likely lesbians, the poor guys have nothing but their imaginations, it’s cruel and unusual punishment for them to be denied porn in my eyes. I so don’t get why they wouldn’t be allowed this small mercy.

Sex should be able to be spoken of without shame or embarrassment, but for many that’s not the case. All we can do is make sure the people in our own lives are informed so they can make the best choices for themselves. Recently a 14 year old boy in California killed himself because a classmate taped him masturbating in the school bathroom and posted it online. He killed himself because of the embarrassment. That is so beyond sad. We need to get rid of the shame.
